Inside Technical Sales Representative (m/f/d)

Role
You will be part of the French sales team based in Montbard, France, which handles both the French and UK markets and you will report to the French and UK sales managers, the latter being located in the UK. Your role will be to follow and develop a portfolio of UK clients which are part of various sectors such as distribution and trading, petrochemical industry, engineering, nuclear industry. The position is essentially sedentary and involves only a limited volume of business trips to the UK each year.

You will follow and implement the company’s sales strategy within the boundaries of the applicable commercial and technical delegations. More specifically, you will:

• Prepare and send offers to RFQs and follow-up on them until the final negotiation in relation with the company’s manufacturing mills and our internal departments.
• Follow-up the entry of orders into SAP in collaboration with sales assistants and resolve the potential issues on the orders entered.
• Prospect for new customers and maintain the relationship with the existing ones.

Qualifications
You have a BTS/DUT in a technical field or you have a business background/degree. You have a first experience in the technical field, in the metallurgical sector if possible. Your English is fluent since you will deal with English speaking clients and all the discussions within the company are in English.

You have very good interpersonal skills, a high capacity to adapt to many different situations and clients. You anticipate things. You have a high resistance to stress. You show curiosity are you are proactive.

We are actively recruiting for a  Project Manager - Oil & Gas Applications - Burgundy, France (M/F/D)

Your Tasks

SALZGITTER MANNESMANN, whose Stainless Steel Tubes Division (MST) has a major production site in Burgundy, is looking for a Project Manager / Product Manager at the heart of the Energy team for the Oil & Gas and Decarbonization sectors.

If you are an experienced Product Manager and/or Project Manager interested in the world of manufacturing on an international scale, this opportunity may be for you.

You will join Mannesmann Stainless Tubes, a specialist in Seamless Stainless Steel Tubes within the Key Accounts team which operates internationally as a technical and commercial referent for the group.

Having a Technical and / or Commercial competence in similar fields you are motivated to join our dynamic and very active team on Premium products.

Part of the challenge of this position is to maintain existing market shares and develop new customers for new applications related to renewable energies such as CO2 capture.

How can we promote our Premium product and convince people of its performance in new markets ?
Being able to support our customers in their choices and provide them with day-to-day contract monitoring with the support of a back office team.

The post :
You will work with the support of the technical, quality and sales departments of our factories mainly in France, Italy and Germany.

This is a creative and deeply strategic role since you will be at the heart of preparing quotes for both technical and commercial content, negotiating and monitoring contracts.

Your role will not only be to support the management of ongoing projects but also to respond to calls for tenders by co-constructing proposals based on market demands on a global scale for the designated sector.

On the one hand you are extremely organized and you master all the important project management skills.

On the other hand, you are able to draw a clear and precise path for your activities, and to ensure that the objectives are achieved in the best conditions for the customers and the company.
You are able to act decisively according to the changing shape and needs of the context.

Duties:
Assisted by co-workers, you manage all the projects in production with the help of actors within internal teams
Participate in calls for tenders by developing appropriate recommendations in terms of costs and deadlines
Define the best commercial approach and design proposals including pricing solutions
Strategically evaluate and implement different types of delivery approaches
Align teams around a vision and provide the necessary impetus to achieve it
Determine relative project priorities
Resolve project risks
Be responsible for the smooth running of current contracts
Identify opportunities for knowledge sharing, learning and team development

Profile :
Interested in the "Premium" product industry
Be available for short missions mainly in Europe
Have already had significant experience (2 to 3 years) in a similar position
Trained as a materials and/or commercial engineer
Fluent English required

Ihre Aufgaben

• Systematische Suche und Beseitigung von Störungen an konventionellen und automatisierten Maschinensteuerungen (elektrisch, elektrisch/hydraulisch, elektrisch/pneumatisch)
• Betreuung von komplexen Produktionsanlagen und Vorrichtungen sowie Durchführung elektrotechnischer Reparaturen
• Ausführung von Wartungsarbeiten im Rahmen der vorbeugenden Instandsetzung
• Erledigung verfahrensbegleitender Eingriffe an SPS-Systemen
• Durchführung von Prüfungen im Rahmen von Schutzeinrichtungsvorgaben und VDE-Vorschriften

Ihr Profil

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Elektroniker/in vorzugsweise in einem stahlverarbeitenden Unternehmen
• Kenntnisse in SPS-Systemen

Ihr Profil

• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung, vorzugsweise in einem stahlverarbeitenden Unternehmen
• Vertrautheit mit Funktions- und Wirkungsweise komplexer Steuerungen sowie Pumpen und deren Regelsystemen
